Innovation Manager for MedStar Inventor Services
Marck-Arthur Clerveau is an Innovation Manager in Inventor Services at the MedStar Institute for Innovation (MI2). In his role, Marck engages with inventors, sets strategies to commercialize MedStar technology, assesses commercial market, develops technology including prototyping and testing, identifies funding for development, develops financial models, structures deal terms, identifies appropriate commercial partners, negotiates deal terms, executes and enforces agreements.
Prior to joining MI2, Marck was the Physical Sciences Licensing Analyst for the Office of Technology Commercialization at the University of Maryland College Park.Where he Identified university discoveries and inventions for commercial potential through direct interaction with university scientific, licensing, and intellectual property staff.
Marck holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering as well as a Masters of Science in Innovation Technological Entrepreneurship from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell). During his tenure at UMass Lowell, Marck was a Graduate Fellow in the Office of Student Activities and Leadership where he assisted in the implementation of UMass Lowell Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Difference Maker program. He worked closely with various university entrepreneurial initiatives such as the Merrimack Valley Sandbox Campus Catalyst Program which provided a successful environment that provides connections, support, and seed grants to students to execute their entrepreneurial ideas.
