Senior Advisor of Usability Services, National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare
Andy Schaudt is an innovator and human factors design expert with significant experience in usability, safety, human-computer interaction and human factors engineering. He has served as principal investigator, co-principal investigator, or project manager on more than $6 million in contracted human factors research.
Andy is President and Chief Experience Officer (CXO) at Post Launch. He is director emeritus of our Usability Services group, and continues to serve our group in a consultation role, advising on our medical device and health IT usability evaluation work.
Andy's prior experience includes human factors research leadership roles at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. Andy holds an MBA from Virginia Tech, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology/human factors from the University of Idaho. He has given numerous professional presentations and has written more than 45 scientific publications and technical reports.
