MedStar Health, via the MedStar Institute for Innovation (MI2), launched a strategic alliance with AirStrip, the leading provider of mobile healthcare solutions that drive clinical transformation. MI2 joins University of Michigan’s Center for Integrative Research in Critical Care who signed a similar agreement. Both institutions will leverage AirStrip Innovation Marketplace™ (AIM) Program, which was created to partner with healthcare providers, public sector agencies, academic organizations and technology companies to support the accelerated incorporation of scientific discoveries and innovation into clinical practice, while creating new revenue models for program participants.
MedStar Health has intellectual property related to enhanced cardiac diagnostic visualizations that will be integrated with AirStrip ONE® – the industry’s first enterprise-wide interoperable mobility solution. In addition, MedStar has deployed AirStrip’s market-leading mobility solution to monitor patients in labor. With this new capability, MedStar patients will benefit from caregivers having everywhere, anytime access to a full range of live and historical information that can support faster and more informed care decisions.
