Mary has 25 years of healthcare experience as an intensive care nurse, simulation educator, and staff development educator. Her expertise includes utilizing simulation to assess health systems for crisis events, managing multiple healthcare simulation technologies, nursing and health science curricular integration, and health system integration.
Mary has led development of a multidisciplinary simulation learning center, and presented at a variety of conferences focusing on patient safety and simulation integration. She was also recognized in 2012 with the Leadership in Learning award from Alvernia University, and in 2007 for the Professional Development Forces of Magnetism award given by American Nurses Credentialing Center. Mary holds a BSN from Eastern Mennonite University and an MSN from Alvernia University.
