Director, Health for America at MedStar Health
Mandy has diverse experience delivering results in corporate, agency, entrepreneurial, and nonprofit environments. Her areas of expertise include public/media relations, executive/program positioning, public affairs, corporate communications, talent development, and program and event management.
In her work at MedStar Institute for Innovation (MI2), Mandy is the Director of Health for America (HFA) at MedStar Health, a yearlong innovation fellowship for interdisciplinary young professionals that addresses pressing health challenges through a focus on health, design, entrepreneurship, and leadership. She oversees the daily operations of HFA and the fellows' work, and advances broader MI2 external alliance efforts.
Mandy previously consulted for Forté Foundation, a nonprofit working to increase the number of female business leaders; a global pharmaceutical company; and MI2. Prior to this, she led public relations for the Americas talent team at EY, a global professional services organization, covering workplace matters such as recruiting and diversity and inclusion. She also held client-serving roles at leading public relations agencies after beginning her career completing the Orr Fellowship, an entrepreneurial fellowship program. Mandy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Purdue University with a B.A. in Communication.
